About Don De Dieu School
Don De Dieu School is a young and vibrant school community founded in 2023 in Kigali – Gasabo District, Jabana Sector. We began with a simple vision: to give children a strong, joyful foundation in their early years of learning.
Don De Dieu School was established in 2023 with a heart for children in the Jabana community and beyond. We recognised the need for a safe, loving and academically strong environment where young learners could grow in character and competence.
From the beginning, we committed ourselves to more than just lessons in a classroom. We wanted a school where children feel known by name, where parents are partners, and where faith, values and excellence work together.
Today, our school continues to grow step by step. We currently offer Nursery 1, 2 and 3 and Primary 1, 2 and 3, and our plan is to gradually expand into upper primary, while maintaining the close, family-like atmosphere that defines us.
The name “Don De Dieu” means “Gift of God”. We believe every child who walks through our gate is a gift — deserving of love, respect and the opportunity to discover their full potential.
Our daily work as teachers and staff is our way of honouring that gift, by creating a learning environment where each child can grow academically, socially, spiritually and emotionally.

To provide holistic, competence-based education in a safe and nurturing environment, helping learners from Nursery to Primary 3 grow in knowledge, character and confidence, as we prepare to upgrade to higher levels.
We currently offer Nursery and Lower Primary, and we are planning to upgrade so that learners can continue their journey with us for even longer.
Our nursery classes welcome children from the early years, giving them a joyful introduction to school through play, songs, stories and exploration.

We are investing in infrastructure, teacher development and learning resources so that children who start with us in Nursery can continue with Don De Dieu School for many years.
Don De Dieu School is deeply connected to the community of Jabana and surrounding areas. Many of our families live close to the school, and we aim to be a positive presence in the neighbourhood.
We believe that when the school, home and community work together, children thrive. For this reason, we welcome regular communication with parents, organise meetings, and encourage families to take an active role in their children’s education.
